Template talk:FEATURE Hacking

From A KoL Wiki
  • The purpose of making it a template is so it can be used as a feature article, however, I don't think it's feature article worthy material right now. Maybe with a rewrite. Manual deletion by Quietust reverted so article can be worked on, or deleted for real at a later date. --jin 23:39, 22 April 2006 (CDT)
  • Okay, fair enough. --Quietust 23:41, 22 April 2006 (CDT)
I'm not entirely sure of the content you would be going for here, but I fixed up a lot of the formatting issues and tried to remove at least some of the ridiculous information, or anything that was written more along the lines of something you'd find on a non-wiki website. umm yeah, this doesn't seem like an intellignet article - nor does it have enough content to be a feature --Godsofpwnage dave 21:20, 3 June 2006 (CDT)

  • I don't know how "hacking" kol is different from hacking any other php/mysql site. Remote/custom form submission, sql injection, DOS attacks, etc. Why not just link to wikipedia. I mean all "bots" are doing custom form submission. And everyone's tries to buy an item from a store which doesn't carry it by customizing item ids in a form submission. Scamming, asshattery, and password guessing (because people use dumb passwords) are much more of a problem than potentional inf meat bugs, item dupe bugs, account hijacking, or "hacking" admin rights.--JRSiebz (|§|) 21:52, 3 June 2006 (CDT)
