The Naked Truth
You follow a dirt trail through the dirty hippy camp, eventually arriving at a small pond of cool, clear water. You wonder if your eyes are deceiving you -- it looks like there's a hippy in the pond, taking a bath. He spots you and starts nervously, but relaxes when he sees you're not a fellow hippy.
"I... I just couldn't stand the smell anymore," he says. "I ran into this frat boy that came over here to spy on us. Being near him made... it made me realize just how badly we all stink. I mean, once you're away from it awhile and you come back -- it's just too much, man."
He starts to walk out of the pond, but since he appears to be naked, you warn him to stay where he is.
"Look," he says, "just don't tell anyone about this, okay? My clothes are on the bank right there. I don't want them anymore - they're filthy. I'm going to defect and see if I can get some nice, clean cargo shorts. Just take 'em and don't tell anyone, okay?"
You grab the ex-hippy's filthy corduroys and walk back up the path.
