Occurs at The Naughty Sorceress' Tower during the Low Key Summer challenge path.
Notes
- You cannot unlock a lock if the key is currently equipped.
- When inserting a key (other than the usual keys):
- You insert the appropriate key and it turns easily. Then both the lock and the key disappear.
Doorknob
- When clicked:
- Without all Council quests complete: You reach for the doorknob, but then you remember some unfinished business that you need to finish up for the council.
- With Council quests complete, but locks remaining: There's at least one lock left locked. Unless you're some kind of wizard, you can't go through a locked door. Actually, in this case, even if you are some kind of wizard you can't do that.
- With all quests and locks complete: You turn the knob and the door vanishes. I guess it was made out of the same material as those weird lock plates.
Polka Dotted Lock
- When clicked: This lock is covered with brightly-color greasepaint.
Anchovy Can
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a can of anchovies. Spooky sardines.
Lock with one Eye
- When clicked: This lock is wearing an eyepatch.
Boat Prow Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like the front of a pirate ship.
Cactus-Shaped-Hole Lock
- When clicked: This locked is shaped like a pyramid, and has a cactus-shaped keyhole.
Frigid Lock
- When clicked: This lock is just an ice cube with a lock shackle on it.
Jarlsberg's Lock
- When clicked: Frank looks at the complex lock. "Okay what we got here is Jarlsberg's lock, and what you're gonna need is -- you guessed it -- Jarlsberg's key. Man, that guy was annoying. Always thinkin' he was so smart. Anyway if I were you, I'd go check out the Dungeoneer's Assocation in the mountains. They keep a shrine to the obnoxious nerd there."
- Upon further clicks: You need Jarlsberg's key for this lock.
Infernal Lock
- When clicked: This lock is made of brimstone.
Sausage with a Hole
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a sausage. And also made of sausage.
Rabbit-Eared Lock
- When clicked: This lock is weirdly rabbit-shaped.
Mine Cart Shaped Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a half-height mine cart.
Skeleton Lock
- When clicked: Frank looks at the lock. "Heya Boss, for this one you're gonna need a skeleton key. Get it? Well, no, if you had it you'd have used it. You can make one out of bits of skeletons from the Cemetary."
- Upon further clicks: You need a skeleton key for this lock.
Spooky Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a haunted flower vase.
Antlered Lock
- When clicked: This lock has antlers on it.
Loaf of Bread with Keyhole
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a loaf of mentally-unstable bread.
Junky Lock
- When clicked: This lock is made out of random chunks of scrap metal.
Overgrown Lock
- When clicked: This lock is made of grass and weeds.
Trolling Lock
- When clicked: The keyhole on this lock looks like an exclamation point in parentheses.
Digital Lock
- When clicked: Frank looks at the lock. "Alright, Boss, this one's gonna be interesting. You need a digital key. And the only way to get one is to talk to that crackpot... er... crackpot in Forest Village. You know the one. I'd point at myself and spin my finger in a circle if I had a finger."
- Upon further clicks: You need a digital key for this lock.
Barnacley Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like the bottom of a pirate ship.
Taco Locko
- When clicked: This lock looks like a taco. A lock-o taco.
Sneaky Pete's Lock
- When clicked: Frank looks at the lock. "Oh man, Boss. For this you're gonna need Sneaky Pete's key. That guy thought he was so cool. And, y'know, I guess he was pretty cool. Anyway they got a shrine to him over at the Dungeoneer's Association. I'd start there."
- Upon further clicks: You need Sneaky Pete's key for this lock.
Lockenmeyer Flask
- When clicked: This lock looks like an Erlenmeyer flask.
Crib-Shaped Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a terrifying self-rocking cradle.
Star Lock
- When clicked: Frank looks at the lock. "Okay, Chief. For this one, you're gonna need a key made of stars. I know, I know, it sounded like hippy crap to me, too. But you're gonna need to make your way to the Hole in the Sky. Don't worry. It sounds scary, but it's actually hilarious."
- Upon further clicks: You need a star key for this lock.
Golden Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a treasure chest, and it tastes like goblins. You had to lick it to figure out what kind of treasure chest it was.
Boney Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a ribcage with a pricetag on it.
Boris's Lock
- When clicked: Frank looks at the lock. "Okay, Boss, for this you're gonna need Boris's key. You know the guy -- Boris? Musclebound hero of the Times of Old? There's a shrine to him over in the Dungeoneer's Association. That's where I'd go, if I were you. Or even if I were me and I were still alive."
- Upon further clicks: You need Boris's key for this lock.
Bat-Winged Lock
- When clicked: This lock is shaped like a bat.
