The Sounds of Violence
As you're headed to the cubicles, the loudspeaker crackles to life. There are some scuffling sounds, and a thump, and then you hear two voices:
"Give it up, Junior! You're not cut out for this gig, and you know it!"
"You idiot! You're leaning on the loudspeaker button!"
And then the sound abruptly stops. Maybe you should get up to Mr. Mination's office and see what's going on. Maybe you're going to get another promotion, and this is a really surreal way to tell you!
