This Adventure Blows
As you wander through the hippy camp, you begin to feel very warm. There aren't any animals striking curious poses, so you're pretty sure you're not generating the heat yourself. You follow the current of warm air and find a row of female hippies sitting on a bench, each working with a blowtorch and what looks like a cast-iron straw. They're blowing big bubbles of glass and shaping them into various "utilitarian" shapes.
"Hey, fellow traveler on spaceship earth," one says, wiping her brow. "We're making glass 'sculptures.' They have a variety of different 'uses.' Usually, the men do this, but they're all out fighting the war for peace, so we're stuck with the job. " She puts down her blowtorch and flexes her bicep. "We can do it, man! But we need more fuel for the blowtorches. There are a bunch of canisters around the back of that yurt, but they're too heavy for us to lift. Could you help us out, in the spirit of brotherly love?"
"Sure," you say. You grab two of the big metal canisters and carry them back to where the glassblowers are sitting. You go back and forth a few times, and the hippies are so greatful they give you a patchouli-oil backrub. Which, all things considered, you could have done without.
You gain 80 Strongness. |
Occurs at The Hippy Camp (Verge of War), undisguised.
