Can't be used, but the next time you buy something from a store costing 1000 meat or less, you'll lose the thriftshop coupon instead of the meat.
- The store will note this with the following message:
  Your next 1000-meat-or-less purchase will be covered by your thriftshop coupon.
- Things which cost more than 1,000 meat are not affected.
- There is no minimum spend. (Watch it!)
Stores where the message does not appear. Stores marked with an asterisk do not have items that cost less than 1000 meat.

This item being used up by the game is always a bad idea, especially for items that cost 100 meat or less. Sell them in The Mall, or keep them in your closet or DC.
