This is a dixie cup filled with the sugary ooze used to make Mountain Stream soda. Even though you saw it come right out of the ground, you still don't believe that anything natural would ever be this particular shade of violent greenish yellow.

- "Phreeeeeeow" is a recurring exclamation from Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, often used by Zaphod Beeblebrox. It is sometimes uttered as a reaction to drinking a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.
- Sugary ooze coming out of the ground could be a reference to the horror movie The Stuff.
- The name "Mountain Stream" parodies the soft drink Mountain Dew, which is yellow in color and comes packaged in green bottles.
