Anaesthesia -- A drug, administered for medical or surgical purposes, that induces partial or total loss of sensation and may be topical, local, regional, or general, depending on the method of administration and area of the body affected. A founding member of The Lolly Lickers' Finishing School as it moved from being SiSSYFiGHTERS' training camp to a clan in its own right, Anaesthesia helped set up LLFS and established many of its original policies. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for Ana and Contrickster to fundamentally clash on clan policy and implementation...and on 31.March 2005, following a misunderstanding over the web forum, Contrickster booted both Anaesthesia and Brainsander, another prominent member.

After a flurry of emails, kmails, and /msgs, it appeared that there was more than enough interest in progress. The two booted members of LLFS formed Detention Hall and welcomed all Lolly Lickers who cared to join -- nearly every active LLFS member eventually did come over. Many of Anaesthesia's policies and guiding concepts were used in creating the foundation of this new clan, but Ana did not remain its leader -- as soon as the clan was settled enough for elections to take place, it immediately became, and remained, a successful democracy. Detention Hall quickly became one of the most respected clans in Loathing.

In late July 2005, Anaesthesia -- a spade to the core -- left Detention Hall to explore other clans, notably Jicken Wings, where things have happened with a pineapple that to this day cannot be retold.

As are most of Loathing's denizens, Anaesthesia is a stick figure. In the way of stick figures, Anaesthesia has no overt gender -- pick one and run with it.
