User:Firestorm ZERO

Firestorm ZERO (#8849) is an well-known oldtime player. Having created his account back in 2003, FZ has been playing the game for almost six years, for good and for bad.
Pre ascension, FZ was a powergamer, seen on the leaderboards for Most Powerful and Highest Muscle leaderboards. Around this time, he also drifted in and out of PvP, holding a position near the top of the leaderboards for some time with a rank of around 1500.
Around this time, FZ also created Kol Trance, one of the first fansites for the game. Initially a spoiler site, Kol Trance developed, and with the input of Stable, becoming a leading Kol support site, with content such as quest walkthroughs, an item, effect, monster and adventure database, comic archives, and the Kingdom's first moon chart. The site became inactive around ascension, when it was overtaken by Coldfront in popularity, and eventually usurped by the wiki in terms of content.
Whilst making the site, FZ was heavily involved in discovering game content in the forums, and can be considered one of the games first spades, working with other members of the community to research item, familiar and effect mechanics, alongside things such as trophy discovery and monster research.
FZ was also a prolific forumer in this period of the games history, as a regular poster in all forums. Whilst many of his posts, by his own admission, were quite idiotic, FZ was also involved in some of the forum's greatest threads, and amongst other achievements, achieved post #31337 in GA's # post thread.
Amongst his many topics on the forums was RR Regulars, a comic and artwork topic about the denizens of Random Ramblings, though the comic is now long forgotten, the badges that preceded and follow it live on today through FZs Ministry Of Badges.
Many of FZ's topics were suggestions for the game, some of which were implemented (though it is not known whether this was because of FZ's suggestions or not), including a desert, display case shelves, a badger familiar and policies of loathing.
On the clan side of things, FZ was a member of many oldtime, some now extinct clans, such as Rage Devils Of Heaven (FZ took a co-leadership position after a week of play, and within 2 weeks, made the clan the biggest in the game, with 160 members) and Darkplace. In March 2004 he was invited into Alliance From Hell by Quato, and it is with this clan that FZ is most associated.
AFH was argubly the best clan in the game in it's day, filled to the brim with popular members of the community, most of whom are now retired from the game, others who are still highly regarded by the community today. FZ was a prolific contributor to AFH's project of collecting every item in the game for the clan stash, though he was not one of the 8 members rewarded with a Consolation Ribbon by Mr Skullhead for the effort.
FZ was with AFH for Black Sunday, and recieved more than 4 billion meat from fellow clan members, which included exploiters of the meat vortex bug such as Lect and DaPunisher. AFH recieved a co-leader position in the clan when Jimbowong split to form Aflubadubdub, and was with the clan when /villa was effectively their own /clan chat, and more infamously, when they were involved in visiting an unfinished area, Little Canadia. FZ was not banned for visiting and discussing the area openly, though Sealh8r, Haz and CrazyAnnie were.
On the topic of exploits, FZ's only bugfind came with the Defend The Gourd quest, where he discovered that infinite Gourd Potions could be acquired through refreshing the quest completion page. He reported this bug to Jick, but also to game friend stable, who took credit for the exploit and recieved a Bugfinder Blade.
FZ recieved negative attention after he became leader of AFH in October 2004, and subsequently disbanded the clan, and was accused of looting, and arrogance (the latter of which he freely admits) in the forums. Despite this, he became a member of AFH once more when it was reformed a month later, becoming co-leader under Jurgen, before taking leadership when Jurgen joined The Rye.
AFH endured 3 months of prosperity under FZ's command, and with the help of his co-leader Tonu, became a great clan once more. This greatness was short lived, AFH could not compete in popularity with the likes of The Rye, Aflubadubdub! and Noblesse Oblige, all established clans in their own right at this point, and after cracking one day in February, FZ booted every member of the clan and took everything from the stash, offering people their donated items back.
Donations are a grey area for FZ, it is well-known that his first donation was the result of a fraudelent transaction, and this will never be forgotten. FZ has donated more than $250 legitimately since then, and posesses a number of Mr. Store items, such as a custom title and avatar.
With the dawning of ascension, FZ's project was Kol Weekly, a Kol magazine that is argubly his most successful piece of fanstuff. Featuring player interviews, content discussion and game-related features, amongst other things, the magazine enjoyed three successful volumes, and FZ is considering bringing it back for a fourth.
After ascension was implemented, FZ took a step back in his involvement with the game community. He tried to get into the speed ascension game, but could not compete with the likes of Bashy and his NO counterparts. During this time, FZ was a member of Renegades Of Funk, a clan he remained with for more than 3 years.
FZ retired from the game shortly before NS13, though he came back briefly in November/December 08, where he had his first experience of post-NS13 content. He joined Alliance From Heck at this time.
FZ's latest comeback was in August 2009, and lasts to this day. He has established himself as a competent ascender, managing 4 day runs, and could be considered a collector of sorts, with a display case and profile full of desirable items. FZ has recently joined The Horrorshow, and has become a forum regular once more, particularly in GA, where he frequently posts in the # post thread.
And the rest they say, is history.
