FrobozzPirate is proud to be one of the first 219,185 adventurers in Kingdom of Loathing, as well as a member of The Blues. Born at a young age, he was pleased to lead an early life that was primarily text-based, reading leaflets, mapping mazes, and being consumed by grues. One day, using a GAMES Magazine as a guide on a quest to find a place where "Hello, Sailor" caused something to happen, he stumbled across the Kingdom of Loathing. The most intriguing quality of the Kingdom was the limit to adventures, which would prevent addiction to the game. FrobozzPirate still laughs fondly at such memories of his early naïveté.
The jump from text adventures to the Kingdom of Loathing was difficult, as Loathing was a land of dazzling colors and -gasp- PICTURES! (What aren't these picto-cubes capable of nowadays?) Yet he handled the transition well, and spent many an adventure searching for his long-lost triplet in the Obligatory Pirate's Cove (his other triplet had only been lost a short while). Unsuccessful, FrobozzPirate despaired for months, until he received a lead from the most unlikely of informants: himself! A leaflet had been sent to him c/o the Council, its return address bearing his namesake, living in distant Antharia. As FrobozzPirate had no recollection of sending himself a leaflet, the conclusion was obvious. The leaflet had been sent as a warning...from his future self! He has since continued his quest well into the secret depths of the mysterious leaflet, undaunted even after learning that everyone in the Kingdom received similar junk mail, and treks forever onward in search of his future self.
Frobozz's current hobbies include collecting Tiny Plastic Grues and Grue Eggs; creating ambigrams, crosswords, and haiku; and not eating or drinking anything.
While his most common nickname is Frobozz, and occasionally Pirate, he is also known as Frozzbozz, Froborz, and Robot Pear Fizz to the many mispellers and lysdexics that frequent the chat and forums. The Phearsome Phantom sometimes calls him FroPi. Why, it is unknown. He still remains firmly committed to his early decision to omit a space in his name, continuing his private rebellion against the tyrannical reign of the underscore.
