Coalescing from a mass of pure magical energy, this being is formed with an attunement to the type of magical energy used (that is why they are an elemental, you see)!
And that energy is ... Love?
Yes, Love! Love for their fellow thinking beings, Love for the world, and Love! Love for Kingdom of Loathing!
That love drives them forward, and fills them with an obsessive need to know more about that which they love--an obsessive desire to better that which they love, and to see every detail as it exists, for what it is, and to give back to the Love of Kingdom of Loathing which gave rise to their very existence!
