Onza no Kooya (# 661129)
I am Onza no Kooya, (self proclaimed) Queen of the They Might Be Giants loonies! In the Kingdom, I am currently on a quest to collect every item that relates to They Might Be Giants somehow, so if you hear about an item I might have missed, tell me! Or if you want you can just K-mail me to talk about TMBG. I like that. Makes me feel special.
Mini-Bio

And your name means...?
- An onza is a puma-like cat that was thought for a long time not to exist, "no" is a Japanese particle that can mean "of", and “kooya” is a lousy English spelling of the Japanese word for "wilderness". Roughly, it means "Onza of the wilderness". Don't let it fool you; I'm a lot less formal than my name suggests. But nowadays, I ask that you kindly ignore the fact that "no Kooya" stemmed from Japanese. I prefer to think of it as just an... unusual last name now. Much obliged.
Pronunciation: ŌN-zä nō KŌ-yä
Fun Facts and Trivia
- First TMBG album was Apollo 18
- Favorite TMBG song is "See the Constellation"
- Has John Flansburgh, John Linnell, and Dan Miller's autographs, but has only actually met John Flansburgh (twice!) and Dan Miller
- First words to John Flansburgh were, "I'm totally freaking out right now." It would seem being in such close proximity with one of her favorite singers shuts her brain down, thereby turning her into a babbling idiot
- The second time she met John Flansburgh, she inquired as to whether or not he or any other TMBG members have accounts in the Kingdom of Loathing. Bet you'd like to know what the answer is, huh?
- Her first TMBG concert was on May 6th 2006 (John Flansburgh’s birthday)
- Name has Japanese in it because she was taking a Japanese language class at the time her KoL account was created, not because of the usual reason of being a whacko anime buff. She cannot, in fact, stand anime for long periods of time.
- Real name is… none of your business
- Was introduced to KoL through three friends who were introduced to it via a computer science teacher. Said teacher and two of the friends no longer have accounts in the Kingdom
- Collects TMBG-related items in the Kingdom
- Her Snowy Owl is named Hedwig not because of a lack of imagination, but because Hedwig is her favorite character in the Harry Potter books (long story)
- Her Wind-up Chattering Teeth are named for the song "I Remember Larry" by "Weird Al" Yankovic
- Birthday is June 13th (one day after John Linnell’s birthday)
- Actually enjoys accordion music. The only instruments that get on her nerves are bagpipes and ukuleles
Current Goals
- Obtain a Crazy Bastard Sword and a Hypnodisk (Stop laughing! I'll do it eventually... maybe...)
- Get my KoL comic-which-fell-apart-on-me back up and running
- Drop in on Jick's real-world home uninvited and offer to clean his garage for a custom item
- Obtain backstage passes somehow to a They Might Be Giants concert and take my friend Enterthewumpus with me (Not exactly KoL related, but a goal nonetheless...)

What's this about a comic?
I know there are hundreds of KoL Comics out there, and I was hoping to become one of their number. Unfortunately, the clan on which the comic was going to be based on went belly-up after I had only completed only three comics and posted them on the KoL message board. To start, one of my main characters' account got deleted which was kinda a problem. Then the leader began losing interest in KoL and it was only a matter of time before his account got deleted, so there went another main character. Also, at the time I was making the comic, school was being a pain and I had discovered the joys of Half-Life 2 which meant comics weren't getting done... and a nasty bout of writer's block didn't help either. Then the clan went under (I'm not sure it even exists anymore) and took my comic with it, leaving yours truly with egg on her face. I stopped posting the comic, but I didn't stop making them. And now some are up on the KoL forums one again under the new name of They Might Loathe Me (credit to Enterthewumpus for coming up with the title). Here's the link: http://forums.kingdomofloathing.com/viewtopic.php?t=82840 It's on hiatus for an unknown amount of time. It would seem that every time I try to get it back on track, something prevents me from doing so, thus TMLM's future as a public web comic is uncertain right now.
We'll see.
That's all I have to say. Thanks for snooping around
