Captain Yaksworth (#414688)

PureEvilYak, or Captain Yaksworth as the world of KoL knows him, joined the Kingdom of Loathing after his best friend (Trampwithmonkey, #414108) mentioned it in conversation, on the 22nd of February 2005. The 22nd of February is also the date of his birthday. KoL soon turned out to be one of his best birthday presents, as he has been playing it almost continually since then.

Before ascension rolled out, the Captain yas a complete n00b. No, seriously. And it didn't stop there, oh no. after his first ascension, he managed to take through a 20lb inflatable dodecapede and perm the skill Summon Snowcone in the short gap between it being introduced, and then denoted as HC permanent. Since then, though, he has learnt from his mistakes, and doesn't consider himself to be a total moron. He continually hardcore ascends, but is currently, well, waiting for NS13. Which he supported all the way.

Captain Yaksworth is one of the elite members of the Kingdom from Britain, and is apathetically patriotic, but not really. He is a great fan of turtles and tortoises, and as such is building up a collection of one of each of the turtles in the Kingdom (and is working out how to save Jick's life and get a custom turtle). He also collects Wands of Nagamar after a bet that he couldn't anagram the names of each of his familiars in an hour by the same friend who introduced him to KoL. He won.
