My name is ReverKiller, and I'm an ascender who is working hard to be fast. Because of my pursuits, I know a lot about familiars and items, and I've decided to share my knowledge. I'll try to keep this updated, especially with prices.

'Optimal' Familiars

Volleyballs

• Baby Bugged Bugbear, The most optimal Volleyball for weights under 25 pounds, and acts as a potato. Incredibly useful, but hard to run without skills to support its required +20 ML.
• Frumious Bandersnatch, An incredibly useful Volleyball that 'augproves' skills, helping significantly in combat.
• Gluttonous Green Ghost, A volleyball that acts as a starfish when fed food.
• Spirit Hobo, A volleyball that acts as a starfish when fed booze.
• Chauvinist Pig, This years volleyball leprechaun. A good familiar to use across the whole run.

Spleen Providers

• Llama Lama, A 2/3 weight volleyball that drops llama lama gong, which offers spleen, power-leveling stats and a powerful combat skill.
• Green Pixie, A fairy that attacks during combat and drops bottle of absinthe, which offers spleen, power-leveling stats. Considered to be the best 'all around' familiar, if used in say a 100% run.
• Baby Sandworm, A sombrero that drops agua de vida. Unique because sombreros are better for stats after a certain point in run.

Fairies

• Jumpsuited Hound Dog, A 1.25x Effective fairy. Also increases combat% with weight (capping at 5%).
• Slimeling, A fairy that acts as an improved starfish when fed equipment.

Utility

• He-Boulder, A leprechaun whelp combination whose primary use is its rays, which can guarantee non-conditional item drops and return a significant amount of stats per weight.

Niche Familiars

• Hobo Monkey, A 1.25x Effective Leprechaun. Useful at the Boss Bat and the Nuns.
• Stocking Mimic, A cocoabo whose major draw is its candy drops, which can be used especially at the Nuns and the Filthworms
• Jack-in-the-box, A 2x Effective Volleyball and Fairy that requires 2 turns to be charged. Useful in areas where a no familiar is needed such as the filthworms.
• Disembodied Hand, A combat familiar that can wield 1 handed weapons. Useful mostly during boss fights.
• Exotic Parrot, A familiar who offers elemental resistance with weight.
• Dancing Frog, A fairy and leprechaun. Useful in a farming situation, but otherwise outclassed by other fairies who offer better benefits than higher meat returns.

Useful Skills

Tomes

Tome Summons can only be used for a total of 3 times per day.

• Tome of Sticker Summoning, A skill that allows for 3 tome summons of stickers, can be applied to a weapon to increase weapon damage, elemental damage, item drops, meat drops, stat gains, and offer a boost to all stats.
• Tome of Sugar Shummoning, A skill that allows for 3 tome summons of sugar sheet, which can be folded into sugar items. These items have many benefits, from increasing familiar weight to spell damage, MP regeneration, and stats, (and many other negligible things).

Librams

Librams can be used unlimited times per day, but use a system of increasing mana costs.

• Libram of Divine Favors, A skill that allows for the summoning of useful combat items, including the rare, but incredibly useful divine champagne popper.
• Libram of Candy Heart Summoning, A skill that allows for the summon of candy hearts, which have many useful effects, especially on day 1.
• Libram of Love Songs, A skill that allows for the summoning of elemental combat items that can also be used to buff your character.
• Libram of BRICKOs, A skill that allows the summoning of BRICKOs (3 BRICKOs per cast), which can be used to create equipment and offer a method of free combat.
