My story is the same as any other old newb -- I played ten years ago, remembered KoL last week for the first time in nearly as long, and then logged in to realize that I no longer knew anything about the kingdom.
I'm a believer in contributing to wikis and have noticed the occasional "spading required" notice. I figure some day I'll find something useful for the group.
I'm also currently an IotM subscriber and hope to be able to help spade new items in particular.
