Yes, I was surprised myself, to verify I looked at my session log in Mafia:

use 1 tropical island souvenir crate You acquire bottle of rum (3) You acquire little paper umbrella (2) You acquire an item: tropical orchid You acquire an item: rhinestone cowboy shirt

• As someone who does not use Mafia, I have no way of gauging how likely that is to be an accurate log or a bug. But I will err on the side of believing it for now. As for sending messages, you can just go to a user's talk page and leave a comment, as I did. Then I go and check Recent Changes and see that you responded.
