Careful, Now

  • hey now. be careful with those edits. you don't want your carelessness to be mistaken for malice. you're pushing it pretty hard as it is. --Evilkolbot 03:22, 13 January 2008 (CST)
  • Um, no offense meant, but it seems like a lot of your reference edits are a but unnecessary. Numbers are best written out, as are acronyms. Also, shearing down sentences isn't needed quite so often. --TechSmurf 21:58, 14 January 2008 (CST)
    • Seriously, don't change percentages to multiples. There's a uniform usage of percentages, both in the game and on the wiki. --TechSmurf 19:13, 16 January 2008 (CST)

But isn't this like Wikipedia, where only I can see my edits?

  • ...Huh? Not at all. Everyone can see your edits. And I've never, ever heard of anything like that on Wikipedia, either. --TechSmurf 19:41, 16 January 2008 (CST)
    • Besides, if only you could see your edits on Wikipedia, how would it be a community encyclopædia in any way, shape, or form? If anyone made any sort of edit, it would only do them good. --Southwest 19:46, 16 January 2008 (CST)

Soooo if I erased every word of every page, everyone would see?

  • Oh yes, everybody would see. Especially the Admins watching Recent changes (which lists how many bytes were added/removed during the edit and shows said number in bold if it's really big), who would promptly revert the changes and permanently block the offender. --Quietust (t|c) 18:51, 17 January 2008 (CST)

Too late... just kidding. But seriously, I just thought that what I was doing, ony I could see. I didn't know I'd screw everything up. Sorry :( By the way, I screwed up two pages, as in they don't appear like normal. I remember one is the effect Canadianity. But I bet that's fixed by now.

Well, I learned something today. I learned that things like this are stupid, where any idiot like me could come in a mess alot up.

I'll miss editing to my tastes.

  • Two last things from me: 1. Try to sign your posts on talk pages using the 'sign your name' tag (it is given when editing a page, all the way down, in the insert 'block'). 2. Never ever change posts in talk pages from other users, even when you think it doesn't matter (I have changed the 'subject' of this discussion back to the origonal, that is part of posts of other users).--Mercantilia 19:20, 17 January 2008 (CST)

Alright.................However, my dear Wikipedia, you can't stop me. I don't have to sign on! Bwahaha!

  • They can still see all the edits from your IP, and block you accordingly. :P --TechSmurf 19:51, 17 January 2008 (CST)
    • Why do you have to go and ruin it, huh? Don't hate'n'!

Any suggestions that is just a matter of personal opinion should be left out of articles (i.e. advising people not to get easter egg balloons is just your opinion: some people get them to collect them). Sign your posts with four tildes (--~~~~) after your posts on talk pages. --CG1:t,c,e 22:16, 8 March 2008 (CST)

    • I was just pointing it out. Since it's completely useless to collect them, just like everything else, I thought I'd save some people's time and concience (as in, having it in your closet forever) by posting that note. But obviously, whenever I try to help, The Man tightens the leash. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hot Shot (talkcontribs)
      • Well, we have a lot of items that can't be discarded or traded. we don't note that "you shouldn't get it" on each of them. In addition, people collect them for reasons such as for leaderboards, so it is not useless. Well, unfortunately, when you try to "help", you don't, as opinionated statements don't belong on the wiki (see here). and sign your posts. and don't delete others' talk. --CG1:t,c,e 16:10, 9 March 2008 (CDT)

Leaderboards are technically useless, I mean, "Hey! You're that one stranger with that one high score of that one record of that one thing in that one game! Awesome!" Oh, and here: --Hot Shot 23:33, 10 March 2008 (CDT)

You know what, delete what I post if you will, because all this is just one big waste of time. I'll never help another person again. Honest. --Hot Shot 23:33, 10 March 2008 (CDT)
