  • How did you find the "in-game" plural for fraudwort? Did you follow any of the methods of finding the plural in Category:Unrecognized Plurals? --CG1:t,c,e 08:17, 27 July 2008 (CDT)
    • I imagine he took it from the in-game text. "After that, I'll need three sprigs of fraudwort. It's used by ninja assassins from Hey Deze to make poisons." The other two have plurals in the quest text, too. So do we consider the textualized plurals of items to be the actual in-game plurals? Seems like a reasonable thing to do. Has there ever been an example of game text using a different plural, in what few instances of items-pluralized-in-text (instead of acquisition/mall messages) there are? --Flargen 15:54, 27 July 2008 (CDT)
      • Goat cheese is different than what the trapper says. The quest text isn't necessarily accurate, but if it's all we have, it might be worth keeping.--Gils 18:43, 27 July 2008 (CDT)
        • Yep, that's where I got it from. I thought it would do. I guess it can be kept? Milnivri 09:45, 1 August 2008 (CDT)
          • Only the true item plurals, as stored in the database, are accepted. In this case, where the game will never reveal the plural forms, it's very possible that Jick inserted bogus and amusing plurals (as he has done for some of the custom items, as well as several quest items from NS13). In all likelihood, though, the items may not have any plural forms at all, which would cause them to show up as "swindleblossoms" and "fraudworts" and "shysterweeds" if the game were somehow tricked into showing them. --Quietust (t|c) 09:00, 7 August 2008 (CDT)
