I was about to post several nasty paragraphs about blatantly plagiarizing Flolle's work, then read your user page and realized that Flolle == Narolf. Crisis averted!

Alrik was running some math about whether or not to farm 1 piece of pirate gear in softcore, when we realized we don't know if all the cove noncombats are equally likely. I have had this wiki account for a pretty long time, but not many contributions plus making use of the alias function, so no wonder you didn't catch on at first. :)

Anyway, to my knowledge the pirate cove has only equally likely encounters. Note though that my knowledge simply consist of this page. Checking every area myself with the single account I have would take a ... very ... long time. The pirate cove is a pretty old area though, so it's reasonable to assume that the numbers are correct, especially since Yiab is responsible for most of the numbers (big amount of respect for Yiab here).

As to the subpage I created today, it's more of a personal reference for me. Trying to organise the data in code-tags simply sucked big time, and looking through it later on even more, so I'm making use of my user space here to take advantage of the wiki markup. Whenever I finish an area, I'll add the data to the thread, but I'm probably not gonna do much on that front in the near future, because currently I'm far more likely to not play any turns at all than to spade this further.
