Elemental alignment cannot be determined by the monster's attacks against you, since elemental damage on attacks can be overridden (as it is on numerous monsters). In order to actually check it, you need to attack it with elemental damage and see if certain elements are doubled or reduced to 1 (based on the behavior described in Elements). --Quietust 09:13, 27 July 2006 (CDT)
