Class Skills Categories

Are these categories really necessary? The number of skills for each class is relatively low, and they are already listed on each class's page. --Quietust 08:38, 12 October 2006 (CDT)

I thought they would be useful. There was a request for them on Category_talk:Skills, and no one had done anything with it. If you think they're extraneous, by all means put them up on pages for deletion. Stubblyhead

I've done a lot of editing on wikipedia. The policy there is to be bold in making edits, so that's what I was doing. Sorry to rock the boat. Stubblyhead

Well, actually the policy there is be bold… …but don't be reckless! :) Here, we generally try to discuss "significent" changes before implementing them ("significent" being very much in the eye of the beholder). Anyhow, I'd rather see an active, engaged editor, like yourself, than a sit-on-your-hands editor, despite the plaguey course corrections that are sometimes required. Creation of some new categories isn't that significant in my opinion; after all, I think WP has almost as many categories as it has articles. If that's not the consensus here though, I will abide by it. Stubblyhead
