Purple Light District

Is there a particular reason why you are uploading each of the "partially cleared" images for the Purple Light District to the wiki (and without specifying their original location using {{kolimage}})? --Quietust (t|c) 16:34, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Well the Purple Light District seems to be the only stage that doesn't have the partially cleared images uploaded. As for kolimage... Ignorance? What does {{kolimage}} do? As far as I knew none of the iterative clearing steps linked to any actual pages on the wiki. --TiCaudata 04:40, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

• The {{kolimage}} template places an infobox on the image page, indicating that it comes from the game itself and lists the exact URL; it also automatically places the image in an appropriate category so it can be more easily tracked. --Quietust (t|c) 15:50, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

• Alright, I might need retardedly simple directions on how to actually implement {{kolimage}}... e.g. I probably have to copy and paste the code you have on that page, but where do you copy and paste it to? and what changes to the code need to be done right away? or is it wholly automated? --TiCaudata 16:07, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
  • When you upload an image, you just put {{kolimage|path/to|image.gif}} in the Summary field, specifying the full path to the image relative to http://images.kingdomofloathing.com/ with the final slash just before the image filename replaced with a vertical bar "|". For example, if you upload http://images.kingdomofloathing.com/otherimages/hobopolis/purplelightdistrict11.gif, the Summary field should contain {{kolimage|otherimages/hobopolis|purplelightdistrict11.gif}}. --Quietust (t|c) 16:46, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
