VYKEA Companions

As you battle your way through vikings and furniture in VYKEA, you may find your pack filling up with a variety of spare parts. Should you happen to also have obtained a VYKEA hex key, you can use a sheet of VYKEA instructions to make a furniture companion for yourself! For an easier time constructing these, please consult this handy table:

Notes

• VYKEA Companions are neither Familars nor Pasta Thrall, they use their own slot.
• You can't build a new companion while you have one active.
• You can only have one VYKEA Companion at a time.
• VYKEA Companions break on rollover. Stupid cheap Swedish furniture.
• You need VYKEA instructions and one VYKEA hex key to make a VYKEA Companion. The instructions are consumed, the hex key is not.
• The number of VYKEA dowels you use determines what level your VYKEA Companion will be. Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 correspond to "None," "1," "11," "23," and "37" respectively.
• Building six different pieces of VYKEA furniture entitles you to the "Some Assembly Required" Trophy.
  • A complete set requires 1 hex key, 6 instructions, 20 planks, 20 rails, and 10 brackets. (If you want each Companion to be level 5, you will also need a total of 222 dowels.)
