You're fighting Vanya's CreatureYou find a door blocked by a giant brazier. You destroy the obstacle with a flick of your fancy whip, and descend into the lair of Vanya's Creature, all darkness and damp bricks and obscure scientific equipment. In a shadowy corner stands the Creature himself.
He looks at you, howling with wordless rage, and begins to walk toward you, very... very... slowly.

The Creature, in a moment of surprising tenderness, offers you a flower. When you take it, he becomes inexplicably enraged again.
The Creature lumbers toward you, but you duck out of the way behind a pile of lumber.
The Creature shambles toward you, but your quick dodging skills make a shambles of his attack.
The Creature lumbers too close to a nearby Jacob's Ladder, and is briefly paralyzed by arcs of electricity. (FUMBLE!)

- The creature's attack scales with maximum HP. It does 10-15% of max HP in damage per round.

- The hit message about lightning refers to an (incorrect) aphorism: that lightning never strikes twice in the same place.
- The attack message about fleamen never being able to shoot fire before refers to the Frankenstein boss fight in the American version of the original Castlevania, featuring the only fleaman in the game who can shoot fireballs.
