You're aprpoached[sic] by a ragged-looking Elf hobo waving a white stocking.
"Please, Adventurer, don't hurt 'em. Er... me. I'm just an out-of-work Crimbo Elf trying to make an honest nickel."
"I'm listening," you reply.
"I've got a heck of a deal for you, here. It's one of the catapults we used to use to toss presents down chimneys. Almost new, and I'll give it to you for just 50 hobo nickels. Whaddya say?"
You rifle through your pockets and determine that you currently have X hobo nickels.
You suddenly feel less lucky.
