X Spots the Mark
You're riding the chair lift up to the top of the eXtreme Slope, trying to psyche yourself up to make an eXtreme run and not break any of your eXtreme bones. You glance down as you ride over the snow-covered landscape and see a big black X in the snow.
Now, you know that X means eXtreme, but X also marks the spot where the treasure's buried. You leap off the lift and head towards the X. When you get close, you see that it's made out of a pair of skis crossed in the middle. You start digging and find feet underneath the skis, then knees, then a waist, then...
Turns out you discovered the frozen body of a fellow eXtreme Sports Enthusiast. He's still breathing, so you take him back to the lodge to defrost in front of the fire. It's only when you're back on the chair lift that you remember you forgot to rifle the adventurer's pockets.
Ah, well. At least you got a good workout.
