You're Freaking Kidding Me
You reach a high ledge in Anger Man's level, and find a vantage point looking down on the way forward. It appears that you have to traverse a room filled with giant, sliding, flaming numbered bricks.
A fifteen puzzle. Which is also a Sokoban puzzle. Which is also on fire. You feel a vein pop out on your forehead.
Grrr. This is literally the worst thing. |
- With insufficient (<50) buffed Mysticality:
You stare at the puzzle for 45 minutes, and you can't figure out what moves to make. You need to get smarter if you're gonna solve this thing. Grrrr.
- With sufficient buffed Mysticality, but insufficient (<50) buffed Muscle:
You glance over the puzzle and make a mental note of which bricks to slide in what order. Then you head down to the puzzle's entrance.
You go to push the first brick, and it doesn't budge. Looks like you're gonna need to bulk up a little if you're going to make any progress. You stomp off, grumbling.
- With sufficient buffed Muscle, but insufficient (<50) buffed Moxie:
You glance over the puzzle and make a mental note of which bricks to slide in what order. Then you head down to the puzzle's entrance.
You lean into the first brick and slide it to the correct position.
Unfortunately, you're too slow to avoid the jet of flame that spews out from under it as it moves. You leave, fuming and rubbing your burnt feet.
- With sufficient stats:
You glance over the puzzle and make a mental note of which bricks to slide in what order. Then you head down to the puzzle's entrance.
You lean into the first brick and slide it to the correct position.
A jet of flame spews out from under the brick as it moves, but you manage to leap out of the way just in time.
You then repeat the whole stupid process like forty more times, until the puzzle is solved and your path forward is clear.
- With at least 500 buffed Muscle, Mysticality, and Moxie:
Wait a minute... |
You realize that each block of this puzzle is actually a second, more fiendishly difficult puzzle. Not too fiendish for you to instantly solve, though! There is a ding, and you are rewarded for your effort with a glimmering treasure!
