* This familiar is a huge reference to psychologist [[wikipedia:Carl Jung|Carl Jung]] (surname pronounced a lot like ''young''), who worked with Sigmund Freud at the start of his career but then diverged. Jung was interested in the unconscious mind, including what he called the [[Unconscious Collective|collective unconscious]]. Jung kept years of his notes in a red-leather-bound (or crimson-leather-bound) book that is now called the [[Little Crimson Book]].
