I think that the +12 Ranged Damage in error (as discussed in [[Talk:Bonus Ranged Damage]]).  Melee Damage is all-inclusive - it covers ranged combat as well as close combat (see [[heavy metal thunderrr guitarrr]] for an explicit example).
