This is a knife made from a sheet of melted sugar. If you ever get sent to the Gumdrop Prison in Candyland, you'll be able to handle yourself if you have one of these.

In all seriousness, if you do ever find yourself in Gumdrop Prison, try and smuggle some gummi worms to Big Tony, the head of the Sour Patch gang. Once you're in tight with Big Tony, no one will try and see how many licks it takes to get to the center of you.

• After 31 combats the shank falls apart:

The handle falls off of your sugar shank. Or, the blade falls off of your sugar shank handle, whichever way you want to look at it. Either way, the whole thing breaks into fragments.

You acquire 2−3 sugar shards

• On a critical hit against a monster, if equipped in the mainhand:

Ooh, right in the neck! That had to hurt!

• Immediately after, and on every subsequent turn (no observed limit):

Blood flows freely from his gaping neck wound. Looks like he lost about 15-20 damage worth, there...
