• Obtained by using the skill Summon Hilarious Objects.
• Encodes all kmails in ROT-13. Also encodes all viewed kmails in ROT-13, so that those sent by others with the ring will appear as normal.

• Among the most famous secret decoder rings was one distributed by Ovaltine. This Ovaltine promotion was also referenced in A Christmas Story.
• Little Arsonist Amy refers to Little Orphan Annie, whose radio show was sponsored by Ovaltine for nearly ten years in the 1930s, and its decoder pin promotions were often tied in with the show (though the message "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine" never appeared in the actual radio show, just in A Christmas Story).
