There are some vague or non-exact figures and information on this page. Some spading is required.

What items can drop?
Data on this page needs confirmation.

Trying to get multiple simultaneous hunts seems to require increasing the stench level by 1 for each extra person. Does at least one trashcano have to be set off for this to occur?

I Refuse!
I Refuse!

You're walking between huge piles of foul-smelling garbage, looking for something to beat up, when all of a sudden you're completely overwhelmed by the stench of this place.

Like, seriously. You've got to get out of here. Right now.

You lose control of your legs, and begin running as fast as you can in a random direction. Unfortunately for you, that random direction seems to have taken you over a weak spot in the ground, as you plunge through and into a darkened underground chamber.

You light a match and look around, and to your surprise, find yourself in a relatively clean chamber. Clean, but cluttered -- in fact, the walls aren't actually walls, they're just piles of miscellaneous junk. It's much drier down here than on the surface, though -- it hardly stinks at all. You could stand to hang out down here for a while, if you wanted to pick through the junk and see if you can find anything worth keeping.

Explore the junkpile

You spend a few minutes digging through the piles of junk, and finally find some stuff that is both useful and intact. Well, intact, at the very least.

Climb back out

You decide you're not interested in any of this junk. Nor ready for any of this jelly, if there happens to be any jelly mixed in with the junk.

Occurs in The Heap.

Notes

  • This adventure will only occur if the stench level of The Heap is at least 8. Note that The Heap starts off at a stench level of 4, and the stench level can be increased by 1 level by either setting off a trashcano or sending trash to the heap.
  • Both options will reset the stench level of the zone to 0.
  • Channel message:
Dungeon: <name> went treasure-hunting in The Heap.
  • Seems to drop almost any three items in the game, including items which are no longer available like the linoleum crossbow string. See [1] and this page's talk page for some items which can be received. This is the only known way to get Ralph IX cognac and the dead guy's piece of double-sided tape.
  • Currently, you can receive a ten-leaf clover there if you are under a bad moon sign.
  • Choosing the second option does not consume an adventure. It triggers a notification in the /hobopolis channel, but does not make an entry in the log. The notification message in /hobopolis for this choice has been confirmed by Jick to be an error, and will likely be changed in the near future.
  • It is possible for multiple clanmates to receive this adventure simultaneously - if each player waits before choosing an option, multiple treasure hunts can be performed at the same time.
