Look, Ma! No Pants!
Look, Ma! No Pants!

This trophy is earned by not having pants equipped just after the turn of the new year on January 1st, 2006.

Look, Ma! No Pants! You're entitled to the "Look, Ma! No Pants!" Trophy, for having celebrated New Year's pantsless.

Notes

  • This trophy is called "Pantsless!" in the Trophy Case, but "Look, Ma! No Pants!" at the Trophy Hut.
  • The system message "Happy New Year! Now take off your pants!" was displayed in chat.
  • Many players who received the trophy were not online and had not seen the message; they received simply because they were lucky enough not to be wearing pants at the time.
  • According to the Jick & Skullhead show (1-2-06), this was a spur of the moment idea and will never be repeated. This has not stopped Mr Skullhead from pulling people's chains in system messages.
  • To many people's disappointment, this trophy did not come around again for New Year 2007.
  • The image name is Not_wearing_any_pants.gif, which is pretty self explanatory.

References

  • In many computer programming languages, the ! in front of a function translates to a boolean false function (i.e. function is false). So "!pants" literally translates to "event of (having) pants (on) is false", which in turn means "no pants".
