Savory dry noodles (and therefore, indirectly, MSG) are a required ingredient in all Transcendental Noodlecraft dishes.

"Wok of Ages" refers to the old-time Protestant hymn "Rock of Ages" by the Reverend Augustus Montague Toplady. Rock of Ages was also a 1983 hit single for British pop metal group Def Leppard.
"Wok of Ages" also refers to the Jewish liturgical poem Ma'oz Tzur, widely known in English as "Rock of Ages."
MSG commonly refers to monosodium glutamate, a food additive especially common in Westernized commercial versions of Asian cuisine.
