References
- The "where are we/mists" text is a reference to the episode of The Sopranos "Pine Barrens" where Paulie and Chris get lost in the woods while chasing a Russian mobster.
- "Prank caller! Prank Caller!" is a quote from the scene in Pulp Fiction, during which Vincent Vega calls his heroin connection, telling said connection he's coming to his home with a girl who's overdosed. Vincent's connection yells, "Prank caller, prank caller!" presumably in a half-assed attempt to throw the police off in case they were listening.
- The usage message about crackling and popping is a reference to the Rice Krispies (Rice Bubbles in Australia) cereal slogan: "Snap, Crackle and Pop"
- "Can you hear me now? Good" was the catchphrase for a series of Verizon telephone commercials. [1]
