Flytraps that live above the water are named after Venus, the god of love, because nothing says lovin' like a bunch of dead flies. Flytraps below the water are named after Neptune, the mighty ruler of the sea, because nothing says mighty like a bunch of dead flies.
Wait a minute. How do you fly under the sea? Shouldn't it be a swimtrap? It must be awfully hungry -- no wonder it's about to chew you a new one.
Hit Message(s):
It whips you with a vegetable tentacle. What a vegetable tentacle debacle! Ouch! Ugh! Oof!
It snaps shut around your <head>. Yeowch! Argh! Ow! Oof!
It spits a pellet of undigested fish bits at you. Ew! Oof! Ooh! Eek! (sleaze damage)
It wraps around your throat and squeezes. You try to strangle it right back, but it doesn't breathe. Ouch! Argh! Ugh!
It snaps its jaws shut around your head and chews thoughtfully. Since it only has vestigial teeth, you have plenty of time to ponder how much it hurts. Ugh! Ooh! Ugh!
It tries to whip you with a tentacle, but you're not down with tentacle love.
It snaps at you, but you snap back.
It spits a pellet of undigested fish bits at you, but you dodge.
It tries to scratch you with a leaf, but you dodge like Eric's son.
It waves its tentacles and demands that you feed it. You decline to do so, even after an elaborate musical number. (FUMBLE!)
