This is a little nugget of sodium. Sodium is one of the superstars of the chemistry classroom, because dousing it in water sets it on fire! Then the teacher can explain that the reason for the reaction is that sodium is made out of concentrated vampires.
And when the student says, "Whoah, really?" the teacher can say, "Na."
