This is a plastic bucket shaped like a Jack-o'-Lantern. Kids use it for trick-or-treating, which is to say that they fill it up with implements of urban destruction and unleash them upon those who refuse to give them candy. It's a lot like terrorism.

• Physical:
  • <name> can't think of a nasty trick to pull, so settles for kicking him square in its most sensitive area -- that's right, his ego -- and does X damage.

• Hot:

  • <name> produces a paper bag full of some unknown substance, sets it on fire, and places it in front of your opponent. It hurries to stomp the fire out, taking X (hot) damage in the process.
  • <name> throws an M-80 at it, hitting it for X (hot) points of explosive hot damage.
  • <name> gives it a good ol' fashion Indian Rugburn. Which is probably a Native American Rugburn, these days. It takes X (hot) damage from the friction-induced heat.
  • <name> gives it the ol' hotfoot. How that works, we were never sure, but its feet get X (hot) points' worth of heat.

• Cold:
  • <name> puts her underpants in the freezer, then gives them back. She puts them on and takes X (cold) damage from the cold.
  • <name> gives her a wet willy, using ice-cold water instead of spit. She takes X (cold) damage from the cold.
  • <name> pelts her with a snowball. Where it came from, we're not sure, but she takes X (cold) damage.
  • <name> rigs up a bucket of ice-cold water, which falls and drenches your opponent. She takes X (cold) damage, and is now ready to enter a contest popular on Spring Break.
  • <name> drops a bunch of ice cubes down your opponent's shirt, dealing X (cold) damage.

• Spooky:
  • <name> shines a flashlight under its chin and cackles maniacally. his teeth start to chatter, causing X (spooky) damage.
  • <name> tells him a spooky ghost story. He shudders uncontrollably, taking X (spooky) damage.
  • <name> puts on a creepy skeleton mask and jumps out at him, startling him to the tune of X (spooky) damage.
  • <name> sneaks up behind it and shouts, "BOO!" It jumps out of its skin, sustaining X (spooky) damage on the way back down.
  • <name> calls her cell phone and asks if she likes scary movies. She freaks out, starts screaming, and takes X (spooky) damage.

• Stench:
  • <name> tricks your opponent into smelling your feet. It sustains X (stench) damage from the stench.
  • <name> shouts, "last one out is a rotten egg," then throws a rotten egg at it. It takes X (stench) damage from the stench.
  • <name> eats a clove of garlic (wait, what's garlic?) and breathes a toxic cloud into its face for X (stench) damage.
  • <name> finds a sweaty gym sock on the ground and throws it at it, who takes X (stench) damage.
  • <name> drops a week-old strip of bacon down your opponent's back, doing X (stench) damage from the stench.

• Sleaze:
  • <name> gives it an atomic wedgie. It takes X (sleaze) damage and blushes deeply.
  • <name> snaps his bra strap. He didn't even know He was wearing a bra, but takes X (sleaze) damage.
  • <name> throws a balloon filled with water at him. Wait, that's not a balloon... ew. He takes X (sleaze) damage.

  • <name> sneaks around behind your opponent and pulls down his pants, embarrassing him for X (sleaze) damage.

Notes

• October 2006 Item of the Month.
• Mr. Store description: "And your little dog, too! Gives +5 lbs. of the familiar to which it is equipped, +5 lbs. of Gravy Fairy, and attacks enemies occasionally with perfect elemental attacks."
• Elemental attacks are only inflicted against monsters with elemental alignments; physical damage is inflicted against other targets.
• Attacks roughly 30-40% of the time.
• Damage appears to range from (weight * 0.5) to (weight), with double damage dealt to enemies with an elemental alignment.
• The "+5lbs. of Gravy Fairy" bonus is equivalent to +12.5% Items from Monsters.
• Initially the physical attack messages were not being displayed, leading many to doubt their existence. Mr. Skullhead cleared up the controversy about the invisible physical attacks.
• When this item first became available, it briefly was equippable in Hardcore. Later, a bug involving the terrarium which allowed the bucket to be equippable in hardcore was found and soon patched.
• An additional bug temporarily prevented the +5 Familiar Weight bonus from being applied.
• Yet another bug was discovered involving the attacks that a familiar made when equipped with this item in regard to the Shadow.[1]

• The "home office in Intercourse, Pennsylvania" is probably a reference to Late Night With David Letterman, who has had "home offices" in several obscure locations.
• "And your little dog too" is a line from the film The Wizard of Oz.
• The production of a "paper bag full of some unknown substance" which is then set on fire, is a reference to the prank where a paper bag is filled with something gross (typically canine feces), set on fire, and left on the porch or doorstep of the victim. The victim's doorbell is then sounded with the intent that the victim will see the flaming bag and step on it to put out the fire, stepping in the warmed feces in the process.
• The spooky attack message involving asking the opponent over the phone if they like scary movies is a reference to the 1996 horror/dark comedy movie Scream.
• An atomic wedgie involves giving someone a wedgie so severe that you are able to put the wasteband over their head. This is evidently quite painful
