Notes

  • This skill can only be used once per combat.
  • The first time a given eye is used in a day, you get the major ray. After that, you get the minor ray. If you spend 150 adventures, the major ray will re-charge, regardless of whether or not you use the minor ray of that color. In other words, if a major ray is guaranteed on turn N, then it is guaranteed again on turn N+150.
  • Each round in combat, you will receive messages about which eye is active. This tells you which ray will fire if you point that round.
  • A minor ray has the following effects
    • Red: 2-3 × <weight> of hot damage
    • Blue: 1-2 × <weight> of cold damage (and?)
    • Yellow: ½-1 × <weight> of physical damage (and?)
  • A major ray has the following effects
    • Red: Deals hot damage and gives you half <weight> of each substat
    • Blue: Stuns enemy for multiple rounds
    • Yellow: Disintegrates enemy, and causes the drop rate of all its (non-conditional) items to become 100%. Net item-drop rate of -100% or worse will still cause items not to drop. The major yellow ray will not fire on bosses. Instead, a minor ray will fire, and you will have to wait until the yellow major ray recharges to use it again.
  • The effect depends on the state of your He-Boulder as described in its current combat message:

Major rays

Fired from red eye

  • <name> swings his eyestalk toward your opponent, firing a searing ray of heat at him, dealing X damage. Man. That was way more entertaining than fireworks!
You gain Y Muscleboundness.
You gain Y Mysteriousness.
You gain Y Cheek.

Fired from blue eye

  • <name> swings his eyestalk toward your opponent, bathing him in a ray of blue light. A huge block of ice forms arround[sic] him.
for the next 3(?) turns:
  • Your opponent is still encased in a block of ice.

Fired from yellow eye

  • <name> swings his eyestalk around and unleashes a massive ray of yellow energy, completely disintegrating your opponent.

Minor rays

Fired from red eye

  • <name> provides a little porno for pyros, shooting it with his red eye for X damage.
  • <name> shoots a great ball of fire out of his red eye, hitting him for X damage.
  • <name> gives him a withering, red-hot glare from his red eye, doing X damage.
  • <name> proves he's a twisted firestarter by lighting him on fire for X damage.
  • <name> shoots a gout of flame from his red eye, scorching him for X damage.
  • <name> shoots a beam from his red eye, hitting him for X hotsy-totsy damage.

Fired from blue eye

  • <name> offers him some cold comfort from his blue eye, doing X damage.
  • <name> shoots a beam from his blue eye, doing a chilly X damage.
  • <name> gives it a frosty stare with his blue eye, freezing it for X damage.
  • <name> hits him with a beam from his blue eye, for a frosty X damage.
  • <name> gives it the cold shoulder -- well, actually, the cold eye, doing X damage.
  • <name> gives your opponent some cold feet with his blue eye, for X damage.

Fired from yellow eye

  • <name> spies, with his yellow eye, a monster that just got X of its hit points disintegrated.
  • <name> blasts him with a yellow beam which causes X damage and leaves your opponent with an amusing new hairstyle.
  • <name> does a little yellow attack, it does X damage. It disintegrates something little.
  • <name> punches a hole through your opponent's torso with a yellow beam of light. This causes X damage, which seems a little low. I guess he didn't hit any important organs.
  • <name> sweeps a yellow beam across your opponent's body, doing X damage and neatly slicing them in half. So neatly that it may be a while before they actually notice.
  • <name> blasts him with a beam from his yellow eye, doing X damage and leaving a convenient little hole for storing pencils in.
