• Though it was originally intended to be a joke enchantment, this item actually does give +10 damage against the white lion enemy, the only lion in the game.
• The part about wearing the safarrri hat back at the gentlemens' club when they go on and on about what happened to them on their safari could be a reference to Jules Verne's Around the World in Eighty Days, in which a gentleman travels around the world in eighty days for a bet and tells of his remarkable experience to the gentlemen at the gentlemens' club he was in.
