• "Veni, vedi, vici" is a famous Latin phrase often attributed to Julius Caesar. It translates as "I came, I saw, I conquered." The 'c' in vici is pronounced like the 'ch' in "change" by English and Italian speakers, which makes the line rhyme with lychee.
