As you surmised, this low stone building is undoubtedly a warehouse -- or at any rate it used to be, when there were people living here with wares to house. The single large room is carpeted with dust and fragments of ancient pottery, and you see what might once have been a pile of sacks of grain, before the grain was all stolen by animals and the sacks grew so old that they crumble into dust at a glance.

Krakrox's keen eye picked out a jumble of metal in a corner of the room. Most of it proved to be useless implements of various types, and what useful ones there were, were so rusty that they broke under their own weight. However, with a little more searching, the barbarian turned up a useful implement indeed -- a grappling hook, wrapped in a scrap of ancient oiled leather that had protected the metal well enough that it still had some life in it.
