You read from The Smith's Tome. It's a dreary and self-absorbed manifesto of loneliness, but it does give you some ideas, and some materials with which to carry out those ideas. Notes

• This skill is granted by your mystical bookshelf once you have used the Tome, and thus it is available anytime you have access to your bookshelf (including Hardcore, but not runs such as Bad Moon or Zombie Slayer).
• Each Tome's summons can be used up to three times each day.
  • During Ronin and Hardcore you may only summon three times from all your Tomes in total each day.
  • After ascending, the counter on Tomes is reset and you can use them another three times each.
• The button in your bookshelf for this summons is labeled "Crack it Open". The Use Skills dropdown menu has the actual skill name of "Summon Smithness".
