Tattoo

A tattoo usually has no in-game effect (the Martini Tattoo is the one known exception), but it can be displayed to others, as it is visible on your character profile. You can select which tattoo you have displayed in your account menu.

Most tattoos are obtained by visiting The Dirt-Walled Hovel of the Pretentious Artist with an outfit on, but there are a few exceptions.

Here are all tattoos currently available and how to obtain them:

Class Tattoos

Be a Seal Clubber.	Be a Turtle Tamer.	Be a Pastamancer.
Be a Sauceror.	Be a Disco Bandit.	Be an Accordion Thief.

Outfit Tattoos

Each of these tattoos is obtained by visiting the Pretentious Artist while wearing the outfit. You must have completed the Pretentious Artist Quest to obtain these tattoos.

Ascension Tattoos

Normal Ascensions	Hardcore Ascensions
Hardcore Class Tattoos (sparkling): You get these after completing a hardcore ascension in that class. Seal Clubber. Turtle Tamer. Pastamancer. Sauceror. Disco Bandit. Accordion Thief.	Hardcore Class Oxygenarian Tattoos (SUPER sparkling): You get these after completing a hardcore Oxygenarian ascension in that class. Seal Clubber. Turtle Tamer. Pastamancer. Sauceror. Disco Bandit. Accordion Thief.

Hardcore Path Tattoos:

You get these after following a path in a hardcore ascension.

Other Tattoos

	Each time you drink a martini there is a one in four chance you’ll get this tattoo. NOTE: While bearing this tattoo, Evil Olives will not bite you, although they can still squirt pimento juice at you.
	Complete the Pretentious Artist Quest.
	Be ZetaReticula (custom tattoo given for getting a real life KoL tattoo).
	Be Daisy Cutter (custom tattoo given for getting a real life KoL tattoo).
