Combat Messages
  • Regular Messages:
    • Start of combat:
<name> engulfs your opponent. <He/She/It/They> come out looking slightly younger and less powerful.
    • In combat:
Just as <he/she/it> goes to attack you, <name> sends <him/her/it> back in time by a few seconds and the attack never happens.
    • After combat:
<name> shimmers briefly, and you feel it getting earlier.
      AdventuresYou gain 1 Adventure.
  • With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:
<name> pulsates rapidly. You get a vague premonition of a distant future in which temporal riftlets have eyes and can wink at you.
  • With miniature gravy-covered maypole equipped:
<name> pulsates rapidly. You have a vague memory of it dancing around a maypole at some point in the distant past.
  • With wax lips equipped:
<name> smiles in slow motion with the lips that are somehow suspended in his howling void.

Arena Messages

  • None - familiar has no weaknesses.

Notes

  • November 2005's special of the month from Mr. Store.
  • The Riftlet blocks at the same rate as the Levitating Potato (1.5% per pound, maximum of 90%).
  • The current hypothesis is that you get a free adventure from the riftlet (weight/1000) of the time.
  • When this familiar "engulfs your opponent" and it comes out "looking slightly younger and less powerful", the opponent is deleveled by floor(wt/2). This can only happen on the first round of combat.
