References

  • From the movie Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle:
Harold: I want 30 sliders, 5 french fries, and 4 large Cherry Cokes.
Kumar: I want the same except make mine Diet Cokes.
  • After consuming the burgers, fries, and drinks, Kumar states, "That was the best meal of my life."
  • The image's filename, "also_ate_zarathustra.gif", is a reference to Also Sprach Zarathustra, which is a book by Friedrich Nietzsche, and a symphonic poem by Richard Strauss, which was inspired by the book. The opening music (prominently featured in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey) is commonly used to indicate something awe-inspiring, and plays while Harold and Kumar survey The Best Meal of Their Lives.
