This is a hat with big chunk of crystallized time attached to the front of it. Y'know how a miner's helmet has that light on it, that lets you look forward through space? This is the same thing, only it lets you look forward through time, instead. Because, like, time and space are really the same thing. It's complicated. You'd understand if you knew more about science.

• The Theory of Relativity states that time and space can no longer be seen separately, but are two intertwined facets of the space-time continuum. So in a way you could say they are the same.
• This could be a reference to the item, "Time Hat" in the SNES game, Chrono Trigger. This item gave the equipped party member "haste" status.
