References

  • The equipment offered resemble the gear worn and used in The Jetsons.
  • All of the speeches Uncle Crimborg makes are jokes on the speech the Borg Queen makes to the android Data in The Star Trek Next Generation movie First Contact which are partly a reference to the Bible verse, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
  • The last few phrases are also a joke of what the Borg say to ships they meet before attacking and assimilating them: "We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile."
