- Valentines were not available originally, but later on, they became available in Skully's store: "Mr. Skullhead's Valentine Emporium", due to Skully's inability to code them into the gift shop, in Jick's absence (he was in Paris). Valentines were also dropped by one monster in each of the starter areas (Big creepy spider, Fiendish can of asparagus, Sub-Assistant Knob Mad Scientist).
- Black velvet boxes were not available this time, the issue most likely being related to Skully's issues implementing Valentines.
