Your Log Saw Something That Night

This trophy is earned by adding the text "Laura Palmer" to the notes section of your Quest Log.

You're entitled to the "Your Log Saw Something That Night" Trophy, for having taken on the case of Laura Palmer's murder.

On April 17th, 2006, Jick revealed this trophy's existence by mentioning that a trophy had been implemented that could be acquired by a brand new account without spending a single adventure.
Before the trophy was discovered, it was given the name "skilt" (meaning skint of skills); after Jick expressed his intense dislike of the name, though, it was quickly renamed to "insta-trophy" (and is still called that today).
Although you can qualify for the trophy without spending any adventures, you must still scrape together the 10,000 meat required by the Trophy Maker before you actually receive it. A new player may receive the necessary meat from another account, but by that standard, several trophies are available on the first day without spending any adventures, including Tiny Plastic Trophy, Easy Come Easy Go, Disgusting Cocktail and Weeping Pizza. Even 99 Red Balloons is obtainable before adventure one with a sufficiently generous patron.

This trophy is a reference to Episode 1 of Twin Peaks, a series revolving around the murder investigation of schoolgirl Laura Palmer, in which "log lady" Margaret Lanterman insists to FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper that a log she was carrying was a witness to the crime, saying "My log saw something that night."
The filename for this trophy is a lyric from the "Log Song" from Ren and Stimpy - "It's lo-og, lo-og / It's big, it's heavy, it's wood! / It's lo-og, lo-og / It's better than bad, it's good!"
